I've jumped on a couple of momo's from emails, just for fun, quick in and out flips, with mixed results.....but I've never gone long, or even medium, from an email blast type thing.

But when they do one on a stock I'm already in, fine by me, and I'll even give them some free advertising and post it, if I think it's still a safe play and no one is going to get burnt.

When I get these blasts I do two things.

1. I check the symbol.

2. I check the disclaimer/disclosure to see how many shares they might be getting ready to dump on anyone coming in.

I never read the body/profile, unless it's something I already own.

I trust my own sources one hell of a lot more, than some unknown email service, no matter what their record.
