They need to go through a lengthy testing procedure on women to determine if it has similar efficacy and safety. Preliminary results are encouraging. Vasomax Gold will combine Vasomax, which is essentially an alpha blocker with a phosphodiesterase blocker, the same class of drug as Pfizer's Viagra. Zonagen expects this combination to be the next generation of oral medications.
