Bilow,
The numbers from the "leak" seem pretty good to me, other than the severe reduction in volume when converting PIII to P4 lines. But there are a lot of other parts required to ship a P4 system. Three other problems could be in getting enough of the i850s, the RIMMs, or the motherboards.

Glad to see that you agree with me on the P4 numbers. I hope Scumbria reads your message too cause he should at least believe you. ;-)

You are correct of course that there can be shortages of other parts beyond the P4. My main point was on the P4 itself which IMO, should be the hardest one of all to produce and seeing those big numbers was a pleasant surprise. Samung already has the capacity to produce 10 million RDRAM parts per month and with very high yields and bin splits. Of course we will not know for sure till the P4 PCs are out for a few months and we see the numbers. It was just good to see that Intel at least has the numbers on the CPU side.
