Sam, for whatever it is worth, I think that 147 will be breached and Rubin will sit on his hands until he gets real concessions from Japan to stimulate domestic demand. The yen might go to 156 before Rubin moves (it is also a pure double from the bottom of the dollar at 78 yen/dollar).

There is "real and present" danger, that competitive devaluations will decimate the Asian markets even more.
