Michelle, my point is obvious. You erroneously dismissed one source as "a right- wing nutcase site", and failed to acknowledge the mistake. You jumped on the fact that I referred to the congressional delegation, which did not see a huge loss of Republicans, claiming that I was being "condescending and misleading" for ignoring the state races, although we had been primarily talking about the bearing of California on national politics. Then, for a long while, you refused to acknowledge the material from the LA Times that I provided. When you did, it was mainly to put forth opinion pieces, and although I acknowledged that the one legitimate article from the Chronicle was interesting, I also pointed out that it did not address the data in the Times. Instead of trying to argue the matter back and forth, you stopped. I did not editorialize in my posting earlier today, because I think it speaks for itself. You are quick to question everyone else's integrity, or to accuse them of being in denial, but are not willing to engage in debate if it is clearly going against you, preferring to allege bias, make things up, or ignore what is uncomfortable to you...... |
