Subj: Re: the split announcement

I must admit that the news release was less than entirely helpful - the 16th
December date is a red herring and I was confused myself by it. The position
regarding the split is as follows.

"Anybody that is SHORT 100 shares of C3D on the eve of the split will,(jan 14) on the
day of the split jan 18 (on or
about 15 January 2000) automatically become short 300 shares, as
shown in their account. Of course the share price on the day of the split
will adjust from the previous day's close to reflect the change in number of
shares outstanding.

The stock split is designed to increase liquidity in the stock, decrease the
share price volatility and lower the cost per share to more affordable
levels for investors."
