Tench,

Don't forget that this isn't just about Compaq/Intel. Samsung
has quite a stake in this and expect to make a go of API. Word
has it , API is set to start up their campaign. Seems the
<$1000 Linux box is their baby. As far as price points...
not much hard figuring here. If Compaq states EV68 is 1/5
the cost of Merced.. that puts it around $400 if you ask me.
Speculation as you point out. We shall see.
