Stephen, I agree with you that AG won't cut in November. Read the following from next week's Newsweek. While the headline blares he will likely cut, the bottom line in the article is that these are analyst's
opinions and not the fed's.

As indicated the spreads have come down from 38 bps to 11 bps. With gdp @ 3.3, he's already made more cuts than he should have. The cuts were made to save some w/s jobs and
some banks from missing the next few quarters earnings. To say the
US economy is going to disintegrate because some bank investors made
some bad decisions is ludicrous. Some very wealthy people were about
to lose their fortunes and big Al decided to lend a helping hand.
What a guy!

Modus operandi is to spread subtle hints that things are better
or worse. His governors have lately been hedging about how things are
looking better, so my guess is he won't move.
