What do you think about that? To me, it just doesn't seem right. I can't help thinking that some problem will develop because of the huge number of mutual funds, or because of the tendency of people ignorant in stock investing to dive head first into them.

I have a gut feeling that this is the time to be a stock picker. I know that this viewpoint is contrary to just about all professional investment advice these days, including Bob's. Maybe that is why I think that individual stocks may be the way to go - I've learned that it is almost never wise to follow the crowd when investing.
