Re: No doubt the widows and orphans he created by bombing a plane out of the air are thankful for his goodness. Malcolm, you must have a reading deficit disorder. After years of trying, the criminal court that was investigating the Lockerbie incident could not find compelling evidence that Qaddafi or his government were involved. The case remains unresolved, except to say that Qaddafi was finally worn down by Western sanctions and capitulated. I find that the understanding most American have of U.S.-Arab relations borders on the criminally ignorant. Decades of deceitful propaganda has been readily accepted by Americans as the truth. To me this is a completely aggravating situation, since it leads to immoral horror shows such as occurred when young impressionable Marines were baptized and "born again" as Crusaders just before they entered the killing fields of Fallujah and murdered 100s if not 1,000s of innocent citizens there whose one desire was to be left alone and not oppressed by imperial monsters.
