"At this point, I can say that we do not have anything planned for today" said Intel spokesman Howard High OK, but what about tomorrow? It's been reported that Intel is selling PII's well below wholesale. I can't imagine them making the numbers this quarter. If Intel does not pre-announce, it'll be hit with shareholders' lawsuits. On the other hand, with x86 prices spiraling downward, Intel may be reluctant to pre-announce early lest they may have to do it again in early July.
