Kummel 2 tbs caraway seeds 3 tsps fennel seeds 1/2 tbs cumin powder 1 cp sugar syrup (2/3 cup sugar and 1/3 cup water, preboiled to dissolve sugar, cooled) 1 fifth 100 proof vodka Crush caraway and fennel add cumin add to vodka. Marinate for 2 weeks or so. Strain off herbs. Add sugar syrup. Feel free to vary the amount of sweetness. Split the batch and experiment. You may find that commercial cordials are too sweet thus too satiating. Enjoy!
