VANNI... I know this is probably a waste of time but here goes anyway... whether you believe it or not I hold no position in IOMEGA... From early 1996 up until I got completely out in Late Jan. '98 I accumulated 6000 shares of IOM . I got out for a "small" loss after being WAY UP at one point... It was a bitter pill to swallow but I took my medicine like a man and think I have learned from the mistakes I made. Since then I have day traded the stock 3 or four times both long and short for a small net gain... I love IOMEGA's product's and classify myself as a "wanna-be-bull"... I think a few years down the road (barring a take over) that IOMEGA will grow into it's potential but it is a good 18 - 24 months away... IMO IOMEGA is a very risky pick right now with little upside potential and bigtime downside risk... There are better stocks to invest in right now... I continue to follow IOMEGA because I like the company and think I am knowledgeable enough about it's "cycles" to spot and play a good day trade opportunity when I see one developing... I follow the IOMEGA threads because it seems to attract an "extreme" (to say the least) breed of individual investor... You have it all on one thread... Smart, Insightful pros that do their homework (M. Coley why have you forsaken us), Great TA people (Ben A.) Great analyst "types" (Bill Lin), Smart AND Funny (Gary Wisdom), Smart, Funny and Passionate in her belief in IOMEGA (Dr. Shill-a), KOOKY, Smart and Passionate in his obsession (Rocky) and alas... yes... the just plain DUMB AND KOOKY (Vanni) HAPPY COCKAPOO TO YOU... JD
