That's fine & dandy, providing you sold near 120 & bought back in at 41. If you dollar cost averaged down the pain must be tremendous and I just detest pain & suffering, don't you. One word of caution, don't expect MSN or Xbox to drive the stock up, only the new O\S and Office can do that, they are the money cows.

The threats to Microsoft are decreasing and that will be reflected in the stock price as well. MSN's increasing popularility only helps solidify Microsoft's position.

You mention going from 120 to down to current levels. Not much pain if you look at the rest of the tech world. That is a sign of strength.

This stock is not going down much from current levels. Not worth the risk to short it, IMHO. Better to take a long position for the long term.
