Computron Software Makes Announcement

RUTHERFORD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 1997--(OTC: CTRN) On January 27, 1997, Computron Software, Inc., announced that information had come to the attention of the Board of Directors that may impact previously reported financial statements.
Arthur Andersen LLP, the company's independent auditors, has not yet completed its review of this information and the 1996 audit and accordingly, the company filed a notification of late filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission in order to complete its report on Form 10-K. The company expects that the evaluation of these matters on previously reported results and the effect, if any, on the 1996 financial statements will be completed on or before April 15, 1997 and that the 1996 Form 10-K will be filed on or before such date.
The company cautions that the preceding statement is forward looking in nature and concerns matters currently under evaluation by Computron and its independent auditors. This statement is only a prediction and the actual completion date of the evaluation and reaudit and the 10-K filing date may differ. No assurances can be given that the evaluation and reaudit of the Company's financial statements will be complete by April 15th or that the company will be able to file its 1996 Form 10-K on or before such date.
