Without going to his website right now, I will make an assumption that he and Cornell West would enjoy dinner together and I don't think much of West's out of this world ramblings either.

My feeling about President Obama is that >>"we elected a president, and this one, for a change, is bright, articulate and coolheaded and appears to work very hard to understand the troubling problems confronting the United States and most of the world."<< (Stolen from a NY Times ltr to the editor today which states my view very well).

And this also from an earlier post of mine today again using most of the words of someone else...

>>"I don’t agree with everything Mr. Obama does, or with his pace or emphasis, but I have the strong sense that (the country and the world and) I will be better off if his policies prevail."<<

I will check out his website later.
