From the article:"...Barbara Gordon, a top sales executive for Sun Microsystems, has left that company and joined rival Microsoft. Gordon started at Microsoft last week as vice president of global accounts, heading the software giant's sales efforts among its top 50 customers, a company representative said Friday. In her new role, Gordon will report to Simon Witts, corporate vice president of Microsoft's enterprise sales group.

At Sun, Gordon was head of worldwide software sales, a position she had held since August 2002, after previously heading Sun One sales. ..."

I believe this was the person who was just promoted last year to head up Sun's Software Division. I wonder what Sunw is planning on with future management changes to build their Software Sales Division. The software sales division was supposed to be a huge growth area for Sunw as they announced last year they expected software revenues to be a larger percentage of their overall revenues going forward into 2004 and 2005.

I wonder if a new management announcement or restructuring in this area is forthcoming?
