Another thing is that the elections WILL be a fraud. Because if they are free and fair, then the religious fundamentalists will win and the first thing they will do is to ask the US to leave. And of course, the US has no plans to leave the country -- ever. After all, they are building 14 military bases there. That should give an idea of how long our troops will have to be there.
