hmm, well....I guess there has been quite a rally in the past year.

At a certain point though, if the peeps just don't have discretionary funds, it doesn't matter what the fed does.

I know people who have recently stopped all contributions to their 401ks so that they can try and get in front of their debt. If that starts being a trend, it will be a bad day for the investment community.

I think we are in agreement that an environment has been created that will not be good for those who have long equity positions.
