AT&T Corp (T) Teleport Communications Group Inc A (TCGI) AT&T CORP expects regulatory approval soon for its $11 billion acquisition of local phone service provider TELEPORT COMMUNICATIONS GROUP INC, AT&T president John Zeglis said Friday. "It's moving very well," Zeglis said after a speech to the Federal Communications Bar Association here. The Justice Department's antitrust division did not make a second request for information, Zeglis added. Mergers not receiving a second request are usually deemed approved. The Federal Communications Commission and state regulators are also reviewing the deal. ICG Communications Inc (ICGX) Lehman Brothers said it upgraded ICG COMMUNICATIONS INC to outperform from neutral. The stock was down 25% from its highs. 1Q core telecommunications results were strong.
