Hey folks: I think the big first calendar quarter bath is getting started. Those that have moved towards
cash will be rewarded as stocks with high PE values get clobbered.


I hope so! My general policy in the US market is to short overvalued high beta stocks like MSFT at any opportunity (not when they're rising obviously) and buy undervalued low beta stocks like Chase Manhattan and Apple - nice rises since Jan in both but Apple is now close to fair value and the earnings report could be disappointing.

In the Australian market I've been increasing cash - small investors can't short here.
