Arete Outdoors Subsidiary Adds 'Adventure Girl' to Web Site Team
BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Arete Industries, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AREE - news) announced that subsidiary, Arete Outdoors, has hired Marion Emmons (a/k/a ``Adventure Girl'') as Adventure Travel Manager for its outdoor sports and adventure website, www.areteoutdoors.com.

With Ms. Emmon's direction, AreteOutdoors.com plans to offer unique, experiential adventure trips only through the best of the established guides and outfitters. These trips, some of which will be developed exclusively for AreteOutdoors.com, will feature a full range of outdoor activities and will encompass both domestic and international venues. Ms. Emmons takes the position after nine years of experience in the adventure travel industry, most recently at GORPtravel.com, where she has developed relationships with many of the top adventure outfitters.
