Market Inspires Guesses and Grimaces
By James J. Cramer

The process of disappointment continues and it's sparing few equities today. In fact, there is bloodletting across the board. It looks like the process of building the wall of worry has been a tad accelerated. It would not surprise me to see the VIX at 50 and the Investors Intelligence number at 35 bull by the time the war begins.

Of course, the missing equation is where the market will be. I see lots of people clustering at the SPX 820 level for some sort of floor. I don't trade the S&Ps, but it is a given that we still aren't done going down.

What to do? I am moving my Action Alerts PLUS portfolio from more defensive equities to more aggressive ones to take advantage of what I think will be the bounce when it happens.

Beyond that, I, like everyone else, am doing a heck of a lot of grimacing.

It's rough out there.
