It is important to rally the price from these lows prior to engaging in any serious discussions to sell the company. I would imagine that the buyout is based on a premium (in percentage terms) above the price of the stock. 50% at $50 is much more than 50% premium at $30. We knew that GCTR was coming. I think that the timing is relevant to the current depressed stock price. LoF
