Bull. The last person I dated had an MSN email account because that was the default icon for "the internet". If Compaq isn't free to set up the desktop the way they think their customers want it, then MS can control the default installation and icon set on the desktop. And people who are too dumb to know better will use those tools instead of getting other ones.

Even when MSN took six hours to process incomming and outgoing mail this summer, my friend still stayed a member.

Never underestimate the complaceny of the American public.
