Carl Hi all; Wasn't P4 supposed to ship late November? SharkyExtreme is now saying early December: Intel Pentium 4 and Timna Insider Info The Pentium 4 (see our preview right here) is now targeted to launch in week 48 of this year. If our math is correct, that should put the launch around the end of November or beginning of December. This is a bit later than we previously expected, but we now know why the product will be delayed. Did you miss the boldfaced part? Sharky's is saying late November as well. Week 48 is from 11/27 through 12/1 according to my calendar (my calendar shows week 1 beginning 1/3/2000). That's 4 days of November and 1 day of December. Sounds like the odds (based on a week 48 ship) would be 80% in favor of late November. Dave
