Kevin on money flows and timing

Your posting on money flow is interesting. A couple of questions for you:

If the four stocks that you identified are the ones with the largest negative m/f, is this a function of their large market capitalization?

Have you considered the possibility of developing a ratio of m/f to capitalization thereby providing a perhaps more valid ranking of the stocks with the largest changes in m/f.

I know that you have previously indicated that some stocks don't seem to follow their m/f. Have you any better sense of why this happens?

Have you a better feel on the time-lag between changes in m/f and changes in price? I am thinking about INTC which you were right about but early in establishing your positions. Would the use of weekly m/f data be any help in this regard?

I have been short the market on the S&P futures and a few individual stocks. I think any rally will be short-lived and am looking to add to my short positions. However, I am looking to go long sometime towards the middle of this month--if the bonds can stabilize.

Gold has begun to retrace and I'll be buying selected mining stocks into this decline. I am a little wary of this gold rally given that open interest has been declining into the rally.
