Regarding Datalink.net:

Without delving more completely into the filings - datalink is providing content that rides over two-way messaging services such as Skytel and BellSouth Wireless Data.

Some quick thoughts:

1. They are OTB-BB - negative;
2. They are a fully reporting company and their filings are professionally prepared and seemingly complete - positive;

sec.gov

3. The company is running at a loss and has a need for need capital within 2 quarters - negative;

4. The company has a S3 statement on file to register existing restricted shares for trading - normally I'd say neutral but given the need for additional capital, the follow on offering is going to be more difficult to execute.

Many have argued that the narrowband two-way industry will be overrun by messaging services provided over cellular and PCS networks - because the data load placed on a cellular or PCS network from a short message service is almost an afterthought.

However, narrowband devices still have two compelling advantages (1) very small form factor (2) very long battery life.

I don't have any insight into their content or pricing at this time.
