volt, you may well be right that we test 5k again. again, it is not as easy as just raising prices and people buy. if the house raises and $100 billion in sells over buys come in, they better have cash ;-)

another $100 billion in sells the next day. and whoah.

just ask japan how easy it is to goose a market when the participants don't want to play.

for a moment the japanese had negative interest rates - they paid a quarter point just to have a bank hold their money so they wouldn't lose it!

i do think the masses may be willing for one last hooorah, although msft and intel make it difficult due to low eps growth rates that are chrinking and shrinking quickly.

edit... and now dell warns. the bellweathers are signalling bad weathwer ahead, folks. gravity will work on pes of 200-300+++% out of wack w/ reality.
