Joan. As you say, the kavkaz.org (.org not .com) site is registered to a Mr. Albert Digaev in Santa Barbara California. However, the site is not down as I write this. The above URL automatically routes you to Tripod page members.tripod.com This is a nice looking site if you read Russian. I tested 3 or 4 of the links and each worked fine. The 404 Error "Not Found. This URL cannot be found on this server." is automatically returned if the link you are trying to access does not exist on the server at that time. My GUESS based on your statement of the kavkaz.org site being closed due to complaints, is you were hitting the new site before everything was back in place on the new server. Just a guess though. Rather then a hacking job, it sounds more like you caught the site in between transferring from one server to another. FYI. You might want to check dxb.org for Chechen Republic Online. dxb.org is the site Mr. Digaev has for his email service. Dwane
