Ummm, MoonBro, were you aware that when opening a checking account you can start your checks at, say, number 1000, so as to save yourself the embarassment of issuing check number 1, and having it refused? You see, some merchants, fearing potential credit risk, don't take low numbered checks. Now how would you like to get a SparQ numbered 000001? I thought so. Me too. I doubt there is one in the range of 1-10,000, and maybe higher. And what's to prevent them from skipping 10,000 every now and then? But, supposing they have produced 126,000. Who's to say that 20,000 never passed QC? From reports of the reliability of the ones that made it out the door, a 15% internal reject rate wouldn't surpise me. |
