At the time the rumour was out, INTC sent no RPQs to anyone for 300mm.

At that time, on the PRIA thread, someone posted a chat with IR.

Essence was PRIA's on the list, if and when they go out.

So I'd classify the rumour as totally true; and even more totally irrelevant.
