Thanks John P, although from Jim Rogers' account the Swiss CB abuses their currency too - just less. I'm starting to realize that my secular bet against stocks suffered from a major weakness: those bets are placed in dollars and the buying power of the dollar is weakening rapidly. To fix this I am looking to take a long position in certain commodities to effectively neutalize the effect of the dollar on the portfolio - not as simple a task as it might seem.
