Common sense tells us that it is not relevant in a sexual coercion case. If Paula had demonstrated in a convincing manner that he offered her a job for sexual favors instead of claiming coercion then this fishing trip may have been justified.
re Livingston, you haven't been following the discussion. It was hypothetical about what would have been found had the time and energy been put looking into Republican's sex lives. Of course it was all speculation. There is no evidence at all that he would have lied. Nor reason to have asked him. But what if? [Thus the nature of hypothetical debate ]
None the less Grant's assertion that they [Republicans ] never lied under oath was of course silly because [ for whatever reasons ]they had never been asked. As even you put it "we will never know"..... Maybe.
