AMD's ASPs rose in 2000 due to a great economy and a new product line that was finally competitive with an Intel product. Now that product line is being treated by the consumer as obsolete. Maybe AMD's new branding will make a difference to some, but given the choice between equally priced AMD and Intel chips, the consumer has historically gone for the latter. This is 100% due to Intel branding. wanna_bmw
