OT: Was having a hard time following your discussion regarding FANG stocks . . .

I then read this article:
What Are FANG Stocks and Why Does Jim Cramer Love Them?

FANG, an acronym created by TheStreet's Jim Cramer a few years ago, is representative of four of the most popular and best-performing tech stocks in recent memory -- Facebook ( FB), Amazon ( AMZN), Netflix ( NFLX) and Google ( GOOG) ( GOOGL).

Then scanning zero hedge this article referenced FANG
S&P Hits Record Highs After BoJ, GDP Disappointment

FANG stocks were the big driver for NASDAQ... best week in a year...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I do not watch Cramer and/or CNBC so I am not sure if this is the current week's hype or a real trend. I do know that each of the companies in their own way have disrupted their sector and generate real revenues.

I wonder how Graham would view these companies as the size of their revenues generated w/ little to no debt and their compounded growth would seem to indicate that they have true value.

For me, the value proposition is their compounded growth that is difficult to forecast/estimate more than 3-5 years out. Most of these companies have 10 year plans so apparently management seems to think they can forecast their own growth.

FB, AAPL, GOOG and NFLX are all w/i 20 miles of my home and my one take away are the innovative people, deep thinkers, and global diversity of the people who work in the valley. It takes more than smart engineers to build these products and services.
