Thanks for the link. I think this is the key line here.

It's the start of a new month and we get another DDR chipset for the Pentium 4 platform. The only difference this time around is that the SiS 645 has Intel's blessing which is worth its weight in gold to motherboard manufacturers.

Sounds like a less expensive higher performance solution for the Pentium 4. Congratulations to SiS for a great design.

Now, when are motherboards due out?
