MigraTEC Announces Introduction of 32Direct Solaris to HP-UX; New Product Furthers Migration to Industry-Standard Computing Platforms

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 23, 2001--MigraTEC, Inc.(TM) (OTC BB: MIGR), the leading developer of cross-platform source code migration automation technologies, today announced the introduction of 32Direct Solaris to HP-UX(TM), a comprehensive tool set for migrating C/C++ source code from Sun(R) Solaris(TM) platforms to HP-UX(TM), Hewlett-Packard Company's proprietary version of the UNIX operating system.
Now available in a beta release program, 32Direct Solaris to HP-UX will help further corporate consolidation on industry-standard 64-bit servers such as Itanium(TM). Both MigraTEC and HP will be enrolling corporate participants for the beta program at HP World 2001 Conference and Expo, now underway in Chicago.
32Direct Solaris to HP-UX is the latest addition to MigraTEC's industry-leading MigraSUITE(TM) toolset for automating cross-platform C/C++ source code migration. Utilizing patented technologies, 32Direct Solaris to HP-UX significantly reduces the time, expense and risk of porting applications, especially when compared to manual methods.
