Jeff,
I am relatively new to daytrading (3 mos.). I have been position trading over the internet in both stocks and options for 3 years with about break-even results. I have had fun and I have learned alot.
I am now trading a 50K account, (my own) from a trading room in Detroit, Mi. We use CyberTrader software with PCQuote feed and we have an instinet terminal.
I have had about the same break-even results position trading in 3 mos.
The most successful traders seem to be scalping for short term 1/16,s and 1/8's. but I have not really been able to learn the mechanics of how they do it.
Do you have any recommendations or sources of info for the very short term trader or scalper? I haven't really found any articles that do a good job of characterizing what scalping is or how to do it.

Thank You.
