Graham, I wish I could offer some sort of answer that make me look guru-ish but unfortunately I can't.

I call myself a micro-cap miner and as they say: "gold is where you find it"

I don't consistently use any particular method. I'm your quintessential example of someone with severe Attention Deficit Disorder. I generally either have a hard time focusing on anything --- or I hyper focus.

I will say this though, when I'm on the prowl for a company, I focus a lot on a clean stock structure and a decent balance sheet.

The last few weeks I've looked over lots of little companies and finally found one that looks interesting so I put it on my screen and will start tracking it.

I dont have a God-given ability to analyze the big companies -- they're way out of my league and too damn complicated for me. But I can read the balance sheet of a microcap... unless its got an alphabet soup structure, convertible debentures etc... then even though it may be a small company trading in the pennies (or under a penny) its still to complicated for me to understand so I generally avoid [doesnt mean I wont throw some money at some of these on occasion -- but I know its total speculation]

The best think i can say is "seek and ye SHALL find".

THE THRILL IS IN THE HUNT!
