My impression is that such things swing like a pendulum. My generation was pretty idealistic. Then came one that tended to be greedy. The next one might be idealistic again. But at some point even greed may point away from using Microsoft software. High TCO and security concerns could bring down the House of Bill. JMHO. Charles Tutt (TM)
