Value investing and shorting internet stocks I have to agree with others on this board that I do not see much of a link between value investing and shorting "over-valued" stocks. Yes, they both involve a contrarian point of view, but the underlying strategies and risk profiles are totally different. I think shorting stocks (especially internet) may be an interesting and exciting topic, but it is purely speculation and not in the spirit of value investing. MC
