Tenchusatsu, I think we have to be careful when interpreting information like this. A number of leaders of Arab and/or Muslim states have shown various levels of support for the US. That does not mean they have the support of their people.

I was surprised at the reaction of a number of middle and upper middle class citizens from some of the countries in question. Simply put, they think the US got what it deserved and bin Laden is a hero. In addition, these same people provide financial support to bin Laden through private charities.

My point is that, even if we find bin Laden and arrest him, the situation in the Middle East is far from resolved. A complete revamping of our foreign policy in the Middle East may be necessary when this is all said and done.
