Yeah but July 4th for the USA pales in drama to France's July 14 Bastille Day.

Holidays based on Guillotines are just more fun, don't you think? I can only imagine the party we could have here, in the USA if we could chop off some politician's head and broadcast it nationally. How about Dick Cheney?

Seriously "the" holiday at that time that most people think of is Bastille day, I think.
