Parke-Davis answer - it is a division of Warner-Lambert (WLA). Due to WL success from Rezulin and Lipitor P-D products, they have lots of cash. They are significantly adding on to and hiring for their research facility in Ann Arbor, MI. Much of it has to do with entering into more licensing and partnering agreements with biotechs, and conducting trials for them. This allows them to forego the basic research and go direct to the clinicals with candidates they like.
