__ Visa Card recommendations ? __ .

Visa adds an additional 1% Fee to the purchase price when we make a transaction in a foreign currency.

The issuing bank can also add an additional gratuitous fee at their option, usually 2%. This brings the total foreign currency surcharge to 3%.

None of my issuing banks for my Visa Cards added the additional 2% fee for foreign currency transactions - until this last month. Now they have all added a 2% fee to the 1% charged by Visa.

Does anyone know of any Visa Card issuers which still do not charge an extra fee for foreign currency transactions. All of the cards I have researched have recently added the extra 2% fee.
