"not too long ago Rs were touting Jindal as a presidential candidate" Just the Obama effect - same way Steele became RNC head. I think they wrote Jindal off when national (R)'s got to see his Obama rebuttal speech on TV and realized just how friggin' WEIRD the guy comes off on TV! Americans won't elect some weird, foreign-looking guy for president.
