"N. Italy wants to split from S. Italy? Why?" Because, the northern Italians are blonde and blue eyed, while the S. Italians are swarthy and brown eyed. Like our Mexicans! N. Italians are fairer but I didn't see that big a difference....although I wasn't looking very closely. I think its more the money. S. Italy is poor like the American South and no matter how much money the Italians throw at it it doesn't seem to improve. I am sure Al can provide more detail.
