Peter,

I am not sure where Smarty got his 25% growth. Per IJ we are doubling shipments of ASIC and we have sold money loosing handset division. We should surely double earnings in 2K over 1999 proforma.
In addition analysts are yelling in their top of their voice 1B phones by 2001. Top it of with the expected growth in excess of 40% for the next forseeable future, I really cannot understand this "200PE bad"
argument. Even the figures are wrong. Let me restate for referecence

with yahoo 490 PE (I believe this is with 1999 actual earnings)
with fiscal 1999 proforma 659/2.99 = 220 PE
with fiscal 2000 projected 659/4.96 = 132 PE.

A more realistic 2000 projection based PE = 659/6 = 109 PE.

If 109 PE is too high then let be it and let him sell it. But I am
holding since I do no think I can buy back cheaper to have same position after taxman takes his share.
