Is Snowden really a leftist? I think of Leftists as Big Brother megastate share the wealth, we know best, bossy proponents and Rightists as We the People Free Enterprise Private Property Libertarian Tradable Citizenship [couldn't resist] proponents, but I admit the definitions are so amorphous it's hard to know. Once upon a time the Leftists were the We the People crowd and the Rightists the Landed Gentry owning serfs and slaves.

Maybe it's time for official definitions so we can all agree on what "Left" and "Right" mean.
